Call for papers

The Journal of Politics and International Studies (JPIS) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed research journal dedicated to advancing scholarly research and providing a rigorous intellectual platform for researchers, academics, and policymakers. Its core focus is the dissemination of original research and critical analysis concerning domestic, regional, and global political phenomena.

The journal welcomes submissions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Political Science & Political Theory
  • International Relations & Global Affairs
  • Public Policy and Governance
  • Diplomacy and Strategic Studies
  • Security Studies
  • Comparative Politics
  • National and Regional Politics (with a focus on South Asia and Pakistan)

Submission Guidelines

The journal accepts research papers, conceptual studies, systematic literature reviews, and meta-analyses according to the following criteria:

Originality

The authors should ensure that their work is original and not under consideration elsewhere.

Length:

Manuscripts should generally range between 4,000 and 8,000 words (including references).

Formatting:

Use MS Word, Times New Roman, 12pt font, and 1.5 line spacing.

Abstract:

An unstructured abstract of not more than 200 words is required, merging the objective, methods, analysis, and conclusions of the study.

Referencing

The journal follows the APA 7th Edition citation style.
